Because all these products are handmade and made to order, they take longer to produce than items from a box store! Our current turn around time is about 2 weeks. While I will try my best to get orders completed quickly, unexpected events can change delivery schedules (particularly weather).

Production time also does not include shipping time! Please refer to our shipping policies page for approximate shipping time estimates.

Currently, we ship from Buffalo, NY to the US and Canada.

We use USPS shipping only, which may take slightly longer to ship, but will reduce any extra customs charges for our International customers.

All GIA tags are made of polymer clay. They are usually reinforced with resin on at least one, if not both sides of the tag. All tags come with a metal jump ring already attached.

Please allow for small imperfections and differences in the tags as they are handmade. They will not compromise the integrity of the tag. The tags are water resistant but may show wear over time and heavy use.

Gently hand wash with warm water and gentle soap. Use a soft brush to gently clean extra dirty tags.

Avoid letting mud/dirt dry onto tag's surface for too long prior to washing.

NEVER use alcohol or acetone to clean the tags as this will break down the material and can ruin your tag.

I cannot replace any stolen, lost or chewed tags. As a reminder, these tags are durable but are NOT chew proof and your pet should always be supervised while the tag is in use.

If a tag breaks, please message me on Instagram (@gold.in.august.co) or contact me via email through our contact page. Every situation is different and I cannot guarantee a replacement if the tag was broken due to user error.

General size references:
- 1" tags - for cats and small dogs <15 lbs
- 1.25" tags - for small to medium sized dogs (15 - 50 lbs)
- 1.5" tags - for medium to large dogs (40 - 90 lbs )
- 2" tags - for large to extra large sized dogs (75+ lbs)

Every product listing will show what the product looks like on our CEO Lenna (a 57 lb female golden retriever) for better size reference. She usually wears 1.5" or larger tags. Rocket (35 lb corgi-cattledog mix with short legs) usually wears 1" or 1.25" tags.

I love making custom orders and, depending on my production load and schedule, will try to open to custom orders regularly.
