Welcome to Gold in August Co!

My name is Ashwini! GIA started as just a little hobby back in May 2024, and before I knew it, I had a whole small business in my hands!

My love for design and creativity and tiny little work started years and years ago. While I do hold a full-time job, I often find the need to keep my hands busy in the evenings, and so I started making little accessories for my own dogs. When the designs caught the interest of friends on Instagram, I decided to start sharing my love of the material and what it can do on Etsy!

My dream is to show off my dogs and to see other dogs wearing beautiful handmade works of art, while having the absolute times of their lives! I hope to see my tags become part of their adventures!

Meet Lenna

Lenna, better known as Lenna-Bean, is naturally the CEO of Gold in August and is the whole reason GIA started! (Golden = Gold In and her birthday is in August!).

She is the patient, silly model for most of our product photos and will do just about anything for her favorite blue squeaky ball.

Meet Rocket

Rocket (aka Rocket-Man) our 10-year old adopted corgi-cattle dog mix, is always there to bring some spice into our lives! He and Lenna are "begrudgingly" best friends.

He doesn't love to pose for pictures much, but will definitely look at the camera for some snackies!
